How often do you go to the ATM? Sometimes I go two or three times in a day depending on what I am doing and where I am. The thing that many people are not aware of, however, is that each time you go to the ATM you get charged a fee by the bank.

Many banks offer free ATM withdrawls from tellers that belong to your own bank but if you use a foreign ATM you will get charged a hefty fee at the end of the month. Sometimes these can sneak up on you and some banks have been known to charge up to $7 for foreign ATM withdrawls. The Bank of South Australia is one of them.
