Summer Time Ecards

If you are yet to discover the virtues of ecards yet, let me convince you of the benefits of these little beauties. Let me start off by saying I am a man. So, that will inform you (at least the half of the funky readership that is NOT a man) about how genetically challenged I am from the point of view of keeping up to date with anniversaries, birthday and just about any other seemingly (from my point of view) insignificant date in the calendar. But, the truth is that being able to remember these kinds of things not only makes people feel happy, and special, but it also talks to your self discipline and demonstrates that you care about some one other than yourself!

One of the problems I seem to have (well used to have) with sending cards to people is that it takes too long. I have to write the card, write the envelope, stamp it up, and then somehow find 30 minutes to go down the street to mail the damn thing. And I am just never organized enough to remember to do it when I am down at the shop doing something else. Because, I invariably remember in the day, or at best the day before.

This is the main benefit of ecards, in my book. You can do them up and send them without having to get up from the PC. And you can get them sent right when you remember. Not, after a long process like the one mentioned above. That is the main reason I love them.

But, one argument people have with ecards is that it is not very personal, and it comes off like you have not put much effort into the card. This is where these Sandcastles ecards are sooooo good. You really just have to check them out to appreciate what I mean. But, you design the card from templates, and it is really cool. You choose the beach, build a castle and more. These are THE best ecards I have ever seen.

Even if you do not have these funky ecards to send, it is always going to be better to send an email or something, than nothing at all. THAT is the bottom line that I have gotten myself to acknowledge. And quality, cool ecards let you look like you have made much more effort than you have!
